It is now that time of year where I am gardening and arranging flower beds and setting up small outdoor fountains. Each year I clean up the fountains and tuck them away until spring, when I bring them back out, load them up with water, check to make sure that the pump motors are running well, and then decide where I will place them. I currently have two fountains. One is tucked into a corder on the deck beside the gazebo. That way I can listen to the trickling water while I relax and read a book, have a coffee (or something a wee bit stronger than that) and play with Freddy (our dog) or visit with family and friends.
The other one is around the corner in a flower bed that runs along the house beside the walk way where my clients enter the yard to come to the office door. I find that trickling water is a wonderful “welcome” to all those who are seeking assistance along their healing journey. And it is amazing how often people comment on how they feel better before they even walk in the door! This is because I put a lot of intent into every flower planted, every pot that is placed, and every plant that is seeded. All of it contributes to the energy of the matrix of my home and my work space. I also have crystals hanging and buried throughout the garden and yard.
I began to wonder, however, if the fountain that I had along the walkway was leaking? It seemed that I was refilling that rather large amount of water twice a day at minimum, three times on very hot days. So yesterday I checked it out and no, there are no leaks. This means that the water is evaporating at a tremendous pace this year. This fact could lead one to the conclusion that the air is lacking in humidity. Considering we have had barely any rain to speak of, this would make sense. I don’t mind that it evaporates. After all, the entire purpose of the fountain is to heal, so that energy intent that is placed is evaporating into the air that people breathe as they walk around the house to my office entrance! Cool!
As a Shaman and Water Witch, this sort of thing is very important to me. Using water as a conduit for the healing energy is a very effective way to administer healing. But there is more to this than that. A friend of mine recently recommended The Fountain Tarot to me. When I saw his photos of the tarot deck I knew that this HAD to be my 55th deck! So I ordered it and had it within three days. It is absolutely stunningly beautiful and the teachings are wonderful. There is a card called “The Fountain”. This is what the creator of the deck has to say about this card:
The Fountain exists outside and beyond the cycles of birth, death, time, and form. It is the nameless, changeless source of which everything is a part. It is the waking from the dream of separateness and identity, and the recognition of one’s Self as not only connected to all things, but ALL things – divine nature. When The Fountain appears in your reading, relinquish all illusion of control and remain quiet. It invites you to observe, master less, and to just be – effortless and indistinguishable from life. You are the voice and the breath of universes.
Pretty cool, eh? So the fountains that I have, be they by the gazebo, or on the walkway, or even on my altar, all represent that eternal IS-NESS; that wellspring from which all things exist. I really like that daily reminder. And I have taken it further still to the consciousness of this while washing dishes, taking a shower, or drinking a glass of water, to name but a few water-related activities. In so doing, it is making a difference in how I feel each and every day of my life. When I water plants indoors or outdoors I have this in my consciousness. They are, as a result, beginning to really grow like crazy. Even a couple that appeared to have not survived the transplant situation into the flower beds or the flower pots have suddenly begun to revive…almost like they have been brought back from the dead and have re-joined the eternal consciousness. If this conscious intent will do that for my plants, imagine what it is doing for my BODY!
I invite everyone reading this to place their conscious intent into their water before drinking it. You can even use words or symbols that are placed onto your water bottle or water jug, each of which programs the energy into the molecules of the water. As you ingest it, it becomes a part of your approximate 70% water body! This, to me, is super cool!
